An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, TD, who is Patron of the Awards, stated that: “Small businesses and entrepreneurs play a crucial and often underestimated role in our economy. The SFA National Small Business Awards enable us to reward and showcase Ireland’s entrepreneurial talent. I am confident that the talent and energy of Irish entrepreneurs highlighted through these awards will provide the basis for Ireland’s re-emergence as a strong and successful economy.”

The company celebrated 20 years in business with an exhibition of its products and services in the Aviva Stadium in September. We are a wholly Irish owned company operating out of Ballycoolin Business Park in Dublin 15.
We are the only company providing Cashless Catering and Vending Systems and also Cash Handling Systems.
The past two years have seen significant growth in our business despite the continuing economic downturn have taken on two permanent staff and one temporary staff member in the last year to meet demand for our services.
The business won a series of tenders to supply banknote recycling equipment to bank branches and retailers to help their customers comply with new ECB regulations. This involved the rollout of over 2000 units nationwide. These units ensure that only banknotes deemed fit for purpose are recycled through ATMs or handed back over the counter to customers.
2011 saw the company continue to win new GiroVend Cashless Catering customers and also introduce new features and benefits including the integration of cashless catering to other facility management systems such as Access Control and Stock Control Systems.

Dualtron are shortlisted in the Services Category (up to 50 Employees).
Category Winners and an Overall Winner will be presented with their awards by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny T.D. in March 2012.

Dualtron celebrated 20 Years in business by hosting an Exhibition of our range of equipment in the Aviva Stadium on 6th and 7th of September.

The exhibition included the launch of some new products for the first time in Ireland as well as our existing range.

Dualtron win another contract to supply Notesorters to Bank of Ireland’s Retail ATM network.

Bank of Ireland have agreed a contract with Dualtron to supply Newton Notesorters to their Retail ATM network nationwide. The Newton allows retailers to provide their own ECB Fitness approved banknotes for ATMs.

Dualtron have been awarded the ISO 9001-2008 Quality Standard.

AIB agrees another Notesorter contract with Dualtron for Retail ATM locations

AIB has reached agreement for Dualtron to supply 300 Newton Notesorters to AIB’s Retail ATM locations. These will be similar to the models already exclusively supplied to AIB Branches by Dualtron.

Stryker upgrades Dualtron Cashless in Carrigtohill

Stryker Orthopaedics in Carrigtohill in Cork recently tendered for a new Cashless Payment System. Stryker decided to retain Dualtron, who supplied their original cashless system eight years ago. They upgraded to the latest GiroVend online system which uses one card for a number of functions. As part of the upgrade, Stryker Instruments, another division of the Stryker Group, also installed Dualtron’s on line cashless system. Staff from both divisions can now use their staff I.D. card in either location.
The reasons Stryker chose the system for these sites was the increased speed and ease of use brought about by the improvements in the GiroVend online system, plus the fact that Stryker Orthopaedics were very happy with the technical support they received from Dualtron over the years. The new system reduces administration and provides comprehensive reports on all aspects of system usage.

Stryker Instruments now enjoy the fruits of cashless catering, including faster service and reduced administration, as well as hygiene and security benefits.

Dualtron will attend the Irish League of Credit Unions conference and exhibition in Belfast on April 30th and May 1st

Congratulations Superquinn

Superquinn opened its first store in Dundalk fifty years ago. This year the success story continues. Recently a brand new store was opened in Heuston South Quarter beside the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham and Eircom’s new Headquarters. This state of the art store was supplied with a range of note counting, coin counting and counterfeit detection equipment by Dualtron, as was Superquinn’s stores in Rathgar and Dundalk.

Superquinn has been a customer of Dualtron for two decades now and we wish them every success for their next fifty years!

Permanent TSB pick the Newton Note Sorter from Dualtron for their branches to recycle cash.

After a formal selection process involving in-branch trials Dualtron have been awarded a contract to supply all of Permanent TSB’s branches with the Newton Note Sorter in compliance with the ECB Banknote Recycling regulations. Permanent TSB is part of the Irish Life and Permanent Group. and is the retail banking operation of the group and is a leading provider of residential mortgage finance in Ireland.
